Track time without thinking about it.

Time tracking for agencies and freelancers that lives in your menu bar. Log a 15-minute call in two clicks, and see what each project really took.

Free for up to 5 people Β· 14 days of Team Β· No card

It's just a 15-minute thing.

A quick call. A two-line fix. A question from a client. Nobody opens a browser tab to log those, so they never get billed, and they never make it into the next estimate.

One of them is nothing. Two a day, across a team, for a month, is how a fixed-price project ends up costing more than it earned.

Log it, see it, quote from it.

Two clicks to log. A clear report for every contract. Real numbers for the next quote.

Log

Two clicks from the menu bar.

Tidpunkt sits in the menu bar on macOS and in the system tray on Windows and Ubuntu. Saving an entry, continuing one or starting a new one takes two clicks. You don't leave what you're doing, so the small things get logged too.

  • Native app for macOS, Windows and Ubuntu
  • Two clicks to save, continue or create an entry
  • No browser tab to find first
See

See what each contract really took.

Every entry belongs to a client, a project and a task. Reports add them up per contract, whether it's fixed-price, a retainer or hourly, so you can see where the week went.

  • Reports per client, project and contract
  • Fixed-price, retainer and hourly work side by side
  • Hours broken down by task, not just a total
Quote

Quote the next project from real hours.

When the next brief comes in, look at what similar work actually took, task by task, instead of quoting from memory. Export any report as CSV for your spreadsheet, or for an hourly client who asks where the time went.

  • Actual hours by task for every past project
  • The small work counted, not guessed
  • CSV export of any report

Calculate your lost hours

Enter your team size, how many small tasks go unlogged and your hourly rate. It takes a minute, and nothing you type is stored.

A worked example. Say a 5-person agency skips two 15-minute tasks per person a day. Over 21 working days, that is 52.5 hours a month. At €50 an hour, it comes to €2,625 of work nobody billed or estimated.

What Tidpunkt won't do.

Finding lost time doesn't need surveillance.

01

No screenshots, ever

Tidpunkt doesn't take screenshots or record anyone's screen. It only knows the entries people log themselves.

02

No activity tracking

No keystroke counts, no mouse tracking, no list of apps and websites. If you want to watch your team, this is the wrong tool.

03

Your data stays in the EU

Tidpunkt is hosted in the EU, on every plan.

04

Your data is yours

Export your entries as CSV whenever you like. If you leave, they leave with you.

No, and it won't. There are no screenshots and no activity tracking. Tidpunkt only knows what people log.

No. You save, continue or start an entry yourself, in two clicks from the menu bar or system tray. That is quick enough for the small tasks to get logged.

Which platforms does it run on?

macOS, Windows and Ubuntu, as a native app in the menu bar or system tray.

Where is our data stored?

In the EU. You can export your entries as CSV at any time.

Our team won't log time. Will this change that?

People skip logging when it means finding another tab. Here it's two clicks from the menu bar, without leaving what they're doing. Try it free with your team for a week and see what gets logged.
